Beyond The 1%

Africa carries most of the world’s disease burden, yet hosts less than 1% of global clinical trials—leaving critical gaps in how medicines work for African populations. This paper shows how the Marcelle Ruth Care Centre (MRCC) is changing that by removing barriers and enabling faster, safer clinical trials in Africa.
