1.GEN-PRO

The Genomic Profiling of Oncology Patients in A Private Hospital Lagos, Nigeria research study is being conducted in Marcelle Ruth Cancer Centre. Our aim is to collect biodata (blood samples & healthcare information) from 1,000 participants across 3 years.

Anyone who is above the age of 12, whether a patient or visitor can take part.

2.BRECAN-NG

This aims to identify familial breast cancer genetic risk factors in Nigeria. By focusing on the unique genetic makeup of African populations, particularly Nigerians, the study seeks to uncover new genetic variants associated with hereditary breast cancer.

In-patient or out-patient between the age of 18-55 with a personal AND family history of breast cancer diagnosis can participate.
